Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Doob ("we") collects when you visit doob.com.bd, create a merchant account, or use our platform, and how we use and protect it. By using Doob you agree to this policy.

• Account information: your name, mobile number, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and store details.
• Business data: products, images, orders, customer details and settings you add to your store.
• Payment information: bKash/Nagad Transaction IDs and payment screenshots you submit for subscription payments. We do not collect or store card numbers or wallet PINs.
• Integration credentials: courier and channel API keys (e.g. Pathao, Steadfast, CarryBee) you connect, stored encrypted.
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies or similar storage used to keep you signed in and measure our marketing.

• To create and run your account and store, and to process orders and deliveries you request.
• To send one-time passwords (OTP), account notices, order notifications and, with your permission, browser push notifications.
• To verify subscription payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To provide customer support and improve our services.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including through the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API.

When shoppers order from a merchant's store, the merchant decides what is collected and how it is used; Doob stores and processes that data on the merchant's behalf to provide the service. Merchants are responsible for handling their customers' information lawfully. Shoppers should contact the merchant about their data.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With courier companies, to deliver the orders you book with them;
• With service providers that help us run Doob, such as hosting, SMS and email delivery, and analytics/advertising partners like Meta;
• When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Doob, our users or the public.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how our site is used. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, encrypted credentials and regular backups to protect your data. We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting and dispute purposes.

You can update your account and store information from your dashboard, and you can delete your account from your account settings. Deleting an account suspends your stores; some records (such as payments and invoices) are kept where the law or our accounting requires. We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
